On Tuesday 4 April 2023, RIDT (Research, Innovation and Development Trust at the University of Mata) will be presenting Mro Christopher Muscat’s oratorio Stabat Mater at St John’s Co Cathedral, Valletta.
This fund-raising event brings together the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, Kor Malta, Jubilate Deo Choir, renowned international soprano Caroline Bruker and Josef Bugeja (cantor), under the direction of Mro Christopher Muscat himself.
In 2012, Muscat’s Stabat Mater was awarded first prize by an international jury in the APS Bank National Music Competition for Maltese Composer.
