Sacred Arias at the Onorati Oratory – A Musical Evening in Aid of Research

On Thursday 12 June at 8:00pm, the beautifully restored Oratorju tal-Onorati, housed within the Jesuits’ Church in Valletta, will host a moving concert titled “Sacred Arias” — part of the APS Bank – Valletta Campus Nights series.

This intimate performance features baritone Joseph Lia and organist Natalia Rakhmatulina, a husband-and-wife duo whose shared musical sensitivity will bring to life sacred works by composers such as Bach, Handel, Rossini, Mendelssohn, Durante, Caccini, and Maltese composer Joseph Fenech.

Organised in collaboration with the Research, Innovation and Development Trust (RIDT) of the University of Malta, the evening will combine musical excellence with a noble cause: supporting local research initiatives. Admission is by a donation of €15, and all proceeds will go toward University-led research projects.

Seating is limited. To reserve your place, please email info@ridt.org.mt or call 2340 8202.

Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy an evening of spiritual music in one of Valletta’s hidden Baroque treasures, all while supporting the future of Maltese research.
