RIDT Christmas Celebration Concert 2023
The annual RIDT Christmas Celebration Concert 2023 was held at the Basilica of St Dominic and Porto Salvo in Merchants Street, Valletta, on Wednesday 13 December 2023. This annual event is RIDT’s way of thanking supporters and researchers for their generosity and commitment towards research at the University of Malta.
This year the concert was conducted by Mro Christopher Muscat with the participation of the Jubilate Deo Choir. It was a delightful evening full of Christmas spirit.
The programme included a cappella Christmas hymns by the full choir and the Cappella Gregoriana, as well as other pieces where the choir was accompanied by renowned organist Ronald Camilleri. The concert reached its climax with the traditional hymns Hark The Herald and Adeste Fidelis which included the participation of the congregation.
After the concert, all guests were invited for mulled wine and mince pies at the University of Malta Valletta Campus.
