Malta International Airport Foundation supports Ħal-Millieri conservation project through RIDT
Conservation works on the medieval frescos at the Ħal Millieri church are progressing well, thanks to the generous, financial support of the Malta International Airport Foundation. The agreement between the MIA Foundation and RIDT was signed by Mr Josef Formosa Gauci (Chairman of the MIA Foundation) and Prof Alfred Vella (Rector of the University of Malta and Chairman of the RIDT board of Trustees).
The meticulous work is being carried out by the team of researchers from the Department of Conservation and Heritage within the Faculty for the Built Environment at the University of Malta.
This project is a collaboration between RIDT and Din l-Art Ħelwa.
