Outstanding Christmas Celebration by Kor Malta
The annual RIDT Christmas Celebration Concert was held at the Basilica of St Dominic and Porto Salvo in Valletta on Friday 13 December 2024.
The national choir, Kor Malta, gave an outstanding performance of conventional, and not so conventional, Christmas hymns and songs in their impecable a capella style. The choir was under the direction of Mro Riccardo Bianchi.
The audience was enthralled and delighted by the extraordinary execution of the choir members and their capability of creating formidable harmonies which showed the technique, talent and skill of each member of the choir, particularly those of Mro Riccardo Bianchi himself.
The evening was well-attended by donors, supporters, academics, researchers and friends. After the concert, all guests were invited for traditional mince pies and mulled wine in the newly decorated Dominican Museum.
