Help us save Ħal Millieri
In January 2024, we announced a collaboration between the Research, Innovation and Development Trust (RIDT) and Din l-Art Ħelwa. One of the first projects we are working on is the Ħal Millieri Conservation project, a significant initiative which is in dire need of funding and support.
The Ħal Millieri Chapel, renowned for its medieval architecture and historical importance, has long been a symbol of Malta’s rich past. Through this collaboration, RIDT and Din l-Art Ħelwa aim to protect this invaluable heritage site, ensuring it remains a testament to Malta’s history for future generations.
The combined efforts will leverage the University of Malta’s expertise in conservation, with Din l-Art Ħelwa’s long standing dedication to heritage. This project will involve extensive research, structural restoration, and the implementation of advanced conservation techniques, ensuring the chapel is preserved with the utmost care.
We believe this collaboration will not only preserve a crucial part of Maltese history but also foster greater awareness and appreciation of our cultural heritage. By working together, RIDT and Din l-Art Ħelwa are setting a precedent for future conservation efforts, highlighting the importance of preserving our history through innovative and collaborative approaches.
