On Sunday 17th November at the Manoel Theatre in Valletta, the RIDT was honoured to have as main guests for a fund raising concert internationally renowned violinist Carmine Lauri and classic guitarist Simon Schembri performing together for the first time.. The programme, entitled ‘Virtuosi’ included pieces by Vivaldi, Piazzolla, Paganini, Sarasate and Giuliani. The musicians left all those who attended in awe as they performed their repertoire, a repertoire for which they received a standing ovation and cheering from the mesmerized audience. It was indeed a night to remember.
